Publicity of PM's Kedarnath visit violates MCC: TMC to EC

Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Sunday wrote to the Election Commission saying that the wide-scale coverage of PM Narendra Modi's visit to Uttarakhand's Kedarnath violates Model Code of Conduct. The complaint said that even though election campaigning is over, his visit is being publicised with "ulterior motive to influence voters". Campaigning for last phase of polls got over on May 17.
