Puducherry CM distributes Diwali grocery hampers to 3.5 lakh eligible families

Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangaswamy on Monday launched the distribution of Diwali grocery hampers to 3.5 lakh eligible families. According to reports, each hamper is worth ₹700 and contains sugar (2kg), cooking/sunflower oil (2 litres), chana dal (1kg), rava (500g), and maida (500g). This year, Diwali will be celebrated on November 8.
