Pulitzer Prize announcement postponed due to coronavirus pandemic

The Pulitzer Prize Board postponed the 2020 award winners' announcement, originally scheduled for April 20, because some board members are busy covering the coronavirus pandemic, the organisation said. The Pulitzer winners in journalism and the arts will be announced on May 4, it added. The Pulitzer Prizes in journalism are considered the field's most prestigious honour in the US.
