Pune airport shuts runway after IAF aircraft's 'hard landing'; resumes flights after 9 hrs

Pune airport runway was temporarily shut late on Friday after an IAF aircraft reportedly experienced a "hard landing". According to airport officials, the incident happened around 10:25 pm when a fighter aircraft's landing gear failed during landing, blocking the runway. Maharashtra's civil aviation minister Murlidhar Mohor said that operations resumed from 7:30 am on Saturday.
