Pune autorickshaw unions give 8-day ultimatum against bike taxis

Pune's Maharashtra Rickshaw Panchayat and Auto Taxi Transport Federation of India have given RTO eight days to act against companies over allegedly unauthorised bike taxi operations. The unions demanded criminal action where violations are established, transparent app-based fares and a dedicated welfare board for drivers. They have warned of intensified protests if their demands are not addressed.
