Pune bans entry of heavy vehicles to prevent traffic congestion during monsoon

Pune District Collector Jitendra Dudi has prohibited heavy and oversized vehicles from entering the city until further orders to prevent traffic congestion caused by waterlogging and vehicle breakdowns during the monsoon. However, goods vehicles entering Pune for loading and unloading will be allowed on separate designated routes between 11 pm and 6 am. New diversion routes have been announced.
