Pune civic body issues notice to societies to curb water wastage

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has issued a notice to housing societies with 1,200-2,000 members to curb water wastage. PMC Water Supply Chief Nandkishore Jagtap stated that water wastage is observed during usage and from overflowing tanks in many societies. The notice highlights the severe impact of water wastage, especially during the summer season when water supply from dams is limited.
