Pune DCP who 'ordered free biryani' claims audio edited to defame her

Pune DCP (Zone-1) Priyanka Narnavare, whose audio clip purportedly ordering free biryani surfaced online, claimed that it was "edited to defame her". She claimed that clip was made to get her transferred as she'd been cracking down on policemen who'd been "collecting hafta money". "Why give money? Should we pay in our jurisdiction?" Narnavare had allegedly said in the clip.
