Pune likely to get Vande Bharat Sleeper connectivity to Bengaluru

Pune is set to become a major stop on the upcoming Mumbai- Bengaluru Vande Bharat Sleeper corridor, with reports suggesting the premium overnight train will run via Pune and Solapur. The move could drastically reduce travel time between Pune and Bengaluru to nearly 13 hours while bringing faster, modern, airline-style overnight rail travel to one of India's busiest intercity routes.
