Pune man plants 'bomb' in hospital after getting ₹7 lakh bill, arrested

A man has been arrested for allegedly planting a bomb-like device inside a hospital in Pune after he got a ₹7 lakh bill for his treatment. Police said he assembled the device using gelatine sticks and a timer and wanted to extort money from the hospital by threatening them with a bomb blast. No explosives were found in the device.
