Pune Metro to Swargate likely to start before Ganeshotsav

The Pune Metro service extension to Swargate is expected to commence before Ganeshotsav, with 95 percent of the underground metro line work from the District Court (Shivajinagar) to Swargate already completed. Mahametro aims to finish the remaining work by the end of July, ahead of the anticipated code of conduct for assembly elections in September.
