Pune Police apprehended Sonu Kapursingh Tak, a member of the Shikalgar-Tak gang, after a late-night chase. The police seized approximately 2.5 kg of stolen silver ornaments and housebreaking tools. Deputy Commissioner of Police Sambhaji Kadam stated, "The suspects were planning a robbery...we have caught one of the prime accused." Further investigation is underway to locate Tak’s accomplices.
