Pune residents with no pipeline gas connections get bills: Report

Some residents in Pune's Akurdi, Baner and Aundh have recently received pipeline gas bills despite them not having Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited (MNGL) connections, reported Hindustan Times. "We received a bill of ₹2,697. I've sent a complaint to MNGL but there is no response," a resident said. "It doesn't happen frequently...we resolve the issue immediately," MNGL MD Deepak Sawant said.
