Pune-Satara railway line doubling work gets completed

The Central Railways has completed doubling the 145-kilometre Pune-Satara railway line, which took over eight years. Pune divisional railway manager, Rajeshkumar Verma, confirmed that safety clearance was granted on June 17 after inspection. Verma added that the project's cost increased from the initial budget of ₹2,480 crore to nearly ₹4,800 crore.
