Pune to face weekly water cuts every Thursday from October 15

Pune Municipal Corporation has decided to suspend water supply across the city every Thursday from October 15. It has also banned the use of drinking water for construction and ordered vehicle washing centres to remain closed until next monsoon to conserve water. The measures follow state government's announcement of a 10% cut in water allocations to municipal corporations from mid-October.
