Pune to get 2 new crematoriums for pet, stray and zoo animals

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has decided to set up two new crematoriums for pet, stray and zoo animals, in addition to the existing one. "We have identified two places - one at the Katraj zoo and the other at Bavdhan," said an official. "The PMC is providing the land while the state government is funding the crematoriums," he added.
