Pune woman allegedly dies by suicide after strangling ill daughter

A 28-year-old woman and her two-year-old daughter were found dead at their Warje residence in Pune. Police said the mother allegedly strangled the child, who was battling a bone disease, before taking her own life. Investigators believe prolonged emotional distress over the child’s illness may have driven the tragedy.
