Pune-based startup 'EcoKaari' upcycles plastic waste to handbags

A Pune-based startup 'EcoKaari' is working towards upcycling single-use plastic waste to sustainable handbags, accessories and decor items etc. The waste is upcycled, spun and woven using traditional methods like charkha and handloom. Single-use plastic products like multilayered wrappers of chips, detergent packets, glittery gift wrappers, bread packets and video cassettes are recycled.
