Puneet Sharma, who resigned as Axis Bank CFO, is likely to join HDFC Bank as its new CFO, CNBC-TV18 reported. This comes as India's largest private sector lender is going through a leadership transition. The report has come on the same day that Sharma's resignation was announced. Sharma will be relieved from the services of Axis Bank on August 31.
