Pune's Bhide bridge gets covered with grass after water discharged from dam

Pune's Bhide bridge was submerged and got covered with water hyacinth and grass after water was discharged into the Mutha river from the Khadakwasla dam. Traffic movement has been stopped and the city's civic body is expected to clear the bridge in few hours. Water was released from the Khadakwasla dam after storage reached over 85% due to incessant rainfall.
