Pune's Sarasbaug to get hawker zones amid anti-encroachment drives

Pune's Sarasbaug area will get dedicated zones for hawkers and food stall owners amid ongoing anti-encroachment drives. "At the meeting arranged by hawkers with the municipal commissioner...on Monday, we sought a plan for development of Sarasbaug," NCP’s Ashwini Kadam said. Pune’s civic body will allocate a budget for area in next financial year, Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar said.
