Punit Goenka resigns as MD of Zee Entertainment, to remain CEO

Punit Goenka has resigned as the Managing Director (MD) of Zee Entertainment Enterprises, the company announced on Monday. Goenka will, however, remain the CEO of the company. Notably, it was under Goenka that Zee-Sony merger deal collapsed earlier this year. Zee wanting him to be the CEO of the merged entity was one of the main issues between the companies.
