Punjab 1st state to impose full curfew after people violate lockdown

Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh announced a full curfew with no relaxations in the state amid COVID-19 outbreak, making it the first state to do so. The decision was taken as people were defying the lockdown in the state, officials said. Any person required to be given relaxation will be allowed specifically for a given period and purpose, Singh tweeted.
