Punjab Assembly passes bill for free telecast of Golden Temple's Gurbani

The Punjab Assembly on Tuesday passed the Sikh Gurdwaras (Amendment) Bill, 2023, which is aimed at making the telecast of 'Gurbani' from Golden Temple free for all without any tender. After CM Bhagwant Mann proposed the amendment, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) chief Harjinder Singh Dhami criticised it. Meanwhile, the chief of PTC Network said Gurbani is already free.
