Punjab Assembly urges Centre to reopen Kartarpur Corridor

The Punjab Assembly passed a resolution on Tuesday urging the Centre to reopen the Kartarpur Corridor, closed since May 7 following Operation Sindoor. Moved by Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, it calls for immediate reopening, simplified visit procedures, and diplomatic engagement with Pakistan to restore visa-free pilgrim access to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib.
