Punjab BJP State Secretary Renu Kashyap allegedly asked party workers to use ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls to get 20,000-25,000 votes deleted to help elect BJP MLA. A video of her alleged remarks was reportedly recorded during a meeting in Dinanagar on July 2. Punjab Congress' AS Raja Warring criticised BJP and urged Election Commission to intervene.
