Punjab CM announces ₹1 crore ex-gratia to kin of soldiers killed on duty

On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann announced ₹1 crore ex-gratia to the family of soldiers killed on duty and said that though it's not equal to soldier's sacrifice, we'll make sure their family doesn't face financial hardships. "We salute soldiers who're guarding our borders under difficult conditions," Mann said.
