Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann diagnosed with leptospirosis

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been diagnosed with leptospirosis. "At present, all vitals of the CM are completely stable...He has already been put on appropriate antibiotics," Fortis Hospital, Mohali, said. "This infection is easily transmitted from infected animals through their urine, either directly or through infected soil or water," as per US' National Institutes of Health.
