Punjab CM burns electricity bills as symbol of waiver, shares video

Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi on Monday burnt copies of unpaid electricity bills as a symbol of their waiver. Tweeting a video of it, CM said, "We promised and we delivered. The waiver of unpaid electricity payments has commenced, as promised to...people of Punjab." The state government has announced a waiver on power bills with up to 2kW load usage.
