Punjab Congress goes for major revamp of state unit ahead of polls

Ahead of the 2027 Assembly polls, the Punjab Congress has undertaken a major revamp of its organisational structure, appointing nearly 3 lakh party workers across district- and block-level committees. The exercise is part of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, the party's organisational rebuilding campaign. The 29 District Congress Presidents have already been appointed.
