Punjab Congress leader Rana Gurmit S Sodhi took to Twitter on Tuesday and wrote, "With deep agony, I put forth my resignation from all posts & primary membership of Congress party with immediate effect." "Congress party has put state's security & communal harmony at stake," he tweeted. Sodhi, MLA from Guru Har Sahai, has now joined the BJP.
