Punjab Congress rift deepens as Channi camp demands chief Warring's exit

Rift in Punjab Congress widened as ex-Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi and his supporters continued to demand removal of Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring during meeting with Punjab in-charge Bhupesh Baghel. Leaders supporting Channi are also reportedly seeking a greater role in the party's electoral strategy. Notably, Punjab will go to polls in 2027.
