Punjab DSP dies as gun goes off while cleaning, bullet hits chest

Punjab Police DSP Yogesh Kumar Sharma allegedly died after his service revolver accidentally fired while cleaning at his official residence, and the bullet pierced his chest. The 55-year-old was serving with the Anti-Narcotics Task Force before recently being transferred to Bureau of Investigation in Chandigarh. Police are also probing the suicide angle as Sharma was reportedly under some stress.
