Punjab govt employees protest over years of pending DA at Civil Secretariat

Government employees are protesting against Punjab government at Civil Secretariat, alleging that the government is denying them their rightful dearness allowance (DA). The protest is taking place at the same Civil Secretariat where flowers were showered on CM Mann when he took over as CM in 2022. Unions claim six instalments of DA since January 2023 have not been released.
