Punjab govt imposes night curfew from 9 pm-5 am till April 30

Punjab government on Wednesday announced that night curfew from 9 pm to 5 am will be imposed in the state till April 30 amid rising cases of coronavirus. The government also announced that political gatherings have been banned in the state. This comes after the Centre said that 80% of COVID-19 cases in Punjab have UK variant of the virus.
