Punjab govt official defends non-veg ban in Amritsar, says 'Everyone should accept it'

Deepak Bali, Advisor to Punjab’s Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department, defended the state government’s decision to ban the sale of non-vegetarian food in Amritsar, saying that everyone should accept it. Responding to concerns over livelihoods being affected due to the ban, he said, “The whole world doesn't have to live by selling chicken...If they work, they'll find work somewhere else.”
