Punjab govt seeks share in Yamuna water allocation: Report

The Punjab government is seeking a share in the Yamuna River's water ahead of a renegotiation of the 1994 water-sharing agreement, officials told the Hindustan Times. Punjab has reportedly argued that it is entitled to a share as it is a successor state similar to Haryana. Delhi has maintained that its water share should not be impacted, the report added.
