Punjab govt to offer free medical cover of ₹10 lakh from January

The Punjab government, led by CM Bhagwant Mann, has launched Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna, under which every family will be entitled to free, cashless medical treatment up to ₹10 lakh from January. The rollout will start in Taran Taran and Barnala, where special health camps will be organised for 2-3 days. Registration will require Aadhaar, voter ID or a passport.
