Punjab woman seeks custody of grandson after daughter's murder in US

Sukhwinder Kaur of Moga has petitioned the US Government and India's High Commission for custody and repatriation of her 8-month-old grandson in California. Her 30-year-old daughter Jasmine Aujla Gill was murdered allegedly by her husband Gurinder Singh Gill who was arrested on October 14. Kaur fears for the child's safety and wants him raised by maternal family in Punjab.
