Punjab hospital reports nearly 1 child cancer case every 2 days

Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in New Chandigarh has registered nearly one new paediatric cancer patient every two days since 2025. Hospital data released during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month revealed 120 new registrations in the 0-18 age group between January 1 and September 20 this year. Authorities said total registrations could cross 200 by year-end if trends continue.
