Punjab Kings accidentally buy Shashank Singh at IPL 2024 auction

Punjab Kings (PBKS) accidentally bought 32-year-old Chhattisgarh all-rounder Shashank Singh at IPL 2024 auction. PBKS were the only team to bid for Shashank during the accelerated round. PBKS co-owners Ness Wadia and Preity Zinta told auctioneer Mallika Sagar that they confused Shashank with another player. Sagar told them Shashank was sold to them as the hammer had come down.
