Pathankot and Gurdaspur in Punjab have been put on high alert after a Gurdaspur police superintendent and two others were abducted and beaten by five men in army uniform on Thursday night. An unidentified dead body was also found 35 km from Pathankot. Six people were killed by men dressed in army uniforms around the same area last year.
