Punjab Police officer accused of extorting ₹3.8 crore from US family transferred

Punjab Police SHO Gurinderjit Singh Nagra, whom the FBI accused of extorting $400,000 (over ₹3.80 crore) from a Los Angeles-based family, has been transferred to police lines. DIG Jalandhar Range Naveen Singla said he has asked SP (D) Jalandhar Vineet Ahlawat to investigate the matter and report to the department as soon as possible. The US may seek Nagra's extradition.
