Punjab police officer runs free coaching centre for UPSC aspirants

ASI Gurdev Singh runs a free coaching centre in Punjab's Ludhiana to help students who can't afford expensive private coaching. He founded the Satguru Ravidas Welfare and Educational Society in 2016, which also provides free food and accommodation. Singh said the initiative was inspired by the high coaching fees he encountered while seeking his daughter's admission nearly a decade ago.
