Punjab police on high alert as deported Indians from US set to land in Amritsar

The Amritsar administration and local police are on high alert as they prepare for the arrival of a US military aircraft carrying Indian deportees. "We are interested only in those immigrants who have criminal records in Punjab. It would be a breakthrough if the US has included any of the wanted gangsters in this flight," a senior police official said.
