Punjab's first 'Halfway Home' coming up in Amritsar

In a major step towards improving mental healthcare, a "halfway home" is being constructed at Dr Vidya Sagar Institute of Mental Health here for patients who have recovered but have no place to go. The facility aims to support patients who are medically stable but remain stranded due to the lack of family support, unknown addresses or social stigma.
