Punjab to deploy anti-drone system to curb drug, weapon smuggling

CM Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government will deploy anti-drone system on the second line of defence by September or October to check smuggling of drugs and weapons from Pakistan through unmanned vehicles, an official said. He added, "We have conducted tests of the anti-drone system at the Indo-Pakistan border." Additionally, 5,500 home guards will be recruited as part of the efforts.
