Punjab woman police officer ties 5-yr-old granddaughter to door in scorching heat, suspended

An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Punjab's Faridkot, Sarabjit Kaur, was suspended for locking her five-year-old granddaughter outside in scorching heat with her hands and legs tied to the gate with cloth. The girl's parents are reportedly living in Portugal. She was rescued by neighbours who heard her cries and recorded the incident, a video of which went viral.
