Punjab yet to pay March salaries to staff; raises ₹1,500 cr loan

Punjab government employees are yet to receive their March salaries, with State Finance Minister Harpal Cheema blaming technical issues. "There are issues with the software...It will be credited soon (but) some employees may get it after April 15," he said. Meanwhile, the government has raised a loan of ₹1,500 crore to meet part of the capital expenditure.
