Putin congratulates Kim Jong-un for re-election as North Korean leader with 99.9% votes
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Kim Jong-un on his re-election as Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of North Korea. "We'll continue to work closely together to further develop the comprehensive strategic partnership between Moscow and Pyongyang," said Putin. Kim Jong-un, who has been the North Korea leader since 2011, saw his party win 99.93% of votes in recent elections.
